We are always looking for professional touring drivers who want to operate to the Standard. This is months on the road with artists, crews and production equipment, show to show. Demanding, rewarding and not for the faint of heart.
The reality of touring
This is not a home-every-night driving job.
Touring runs on the show's clock, not a dispatcher's. You live on the road with an artist and their production for weeks or months at a time, and every decision you make affects whether the doors open on time.
- Extended time away.Legs typically run several weeks to several months, with breaks between runs rather than nights at home.
- Overnight driving.Most moves happen after load-out, so you drive at night and rest during the day while the show is on.
- Hours-of-service discipline.You plan your own rest and stay compliant with Canadian and U.S. hours-of-service rules, including on long cross-border runs.
- Plans that change.Call times, routing and venues can shift at short notice. You adapt calmly and keep production and our team informed.
- No second chances on show day.A concert opening tonight cannot be rescheduled, so we need drivers who plan ahead and arrive ready.
What the job asks of you
The last few feet can be the hardest.
A highway trip may end at a tight urban dock, a temporary venue setup or an alley behind a theatre you have never visited. Sometimes a lead driver guides the move. Other times, you assess the space and find a safe way in.
Listen first. Keep everyone aligned.
Work independently and alongside other drivers and crews. Use our comms platform to respond to dispatches, production messages and last-minute changes. Strong spoken and written English is essential.
Know your trailer pack.
Move show equipment inside the trailer, push, pull and lift up to 50 lb, and secure freight with straps and load bars. Remember the pack from show to show and adapt when the production changes it.
Represent the tour well.
You may work backstage and in private production areas. Respect the trust that access brings, protect what you see and hear, and never post backstage activity or production information online.

Touring experience is an asset but not a requirement. If you have a clean record, sound judgment in difficult conditions and the temperament for life on the road, we want to hear from you.
Non-negotiable requirements.
- At least 21 years of age
- A valid passport and the ability to enter the United States
- A clean criminal record, with no previous or pending charges
- A clean credit check
- Participation in the U.S. DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, including pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
- FAST or NEXUS card Preferred
What you bring behind the wheel.
- A valid Class 1 (Canada) or CDL Class A (U.S.) licence, or acceptance into our licence support pathway
- A clean commercial driver’s abstract and claims history
- Proven tractor-trailer experience in urban and mountain conditions
- Strong spoken and written English
- Ability to be away from home for extended periods
